China

Features:
Commonly referred to as coenzyme Q10, Ubiquinone was originally
so named because of its omnipresence in virtually every cell of
the human body.
According to Dr. Karl Folkers, a pioneer in the CoQ10 fermentation
synthesis, CoQ10 should be properly renamed “vitamin Q,”
and thus take its rightful place in the pantheon of essential nutrients.
CoQ10, (Coenzyme Q10 or Ubiquinone) is a nutritional supplement
that plays a role in the function of mitochondria, the energy factories
of human cells. The mitochondria are the cell’s energy powerhouses,
and coenzyme Q10 is an essential component of healthy mitochondrial
function.
CoQ10 is required to convert fats and sugars into cellular energy,
yet the natural production of CoQ10 declines precipitously with
advancing age. When the body has an ample amount of CoQ10 the mitochondria
can work most efficiently throughout the entire body, in cells everywhere,
including the most densely populated area, the heart.
CoQ10 is also an anti-oxidant, helping soak up compounds known
as free radicals that do damage to DNA and other proteins in our
body.
