Description:

Our Lubricant is a highly effective and environmentally acceptable ester-base lubricant which can reduce the torque and friction drag and bit/stabilizer balling in most water-base drilling fluids.

Technical Data:

Appearance: Amber liquid

Density: 0.85 -1.00 g/cm3

Solubility: Water dispersible

Application/Function:

Used as lubricant for highly deviated or horizontal wells to minimize torque, drag, differential sticking and bit and BHA balling problems in particularly off-shore operation.

Can be used in all types of water base drilling fluids

Effective lubricant for torque and drag reduction

Will not adversely affect mud properties

Reduces bit and stabilizer balling

Compatible with common water-base fluid additives

Thermally stable at temperatures up to 302 °F / 150°.

Recommended Treatment:

Add lubricant in concentrations of 10.0 to 25.0 liters per 1000 liters to drilling fluids. Mix slowly through a jet mixer or sift slowly into the vortex of a high-speed stirrer.

Safe Handling Recommendations:

Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.

Package and Storage:

180kg drums or according to customer’s requirement.

Avoid high-intensity extreme pressure and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
