Description:

Maleic Anhydride Flakes, Briquettes


Physical and Chemical Property:

Colorless or white solid with a pungent odor. Relative density:1.48, M.P.:52.8℃, B.P.:202.2℃. Under lower temperature (60-80℃), it can sublimate, soluble in ethanol, ether and acetone, can react with water to produce maleic acid, combustible. If its vapor is mixed with powder dust and air, it may form exploded mixture.


Application:

Manufacture of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, insulated paint, plasticizer, maleic acid and tartaric acid, etc. It can be used antiseptic agent, also serve as the raw materials of medicine, pesticide, paint, glass steel and so on.

Packing:

Packed in PP woven bags of 25kgs net each with PE liner inside and 20MT in one 20’FCL with pallet.


Storage:

The product should be kept in shady, dry and ventilated warehouse with environment temperature controlled within 122F and relative humidity 50%. It should be prevented from sun and rain, and positioned in some place away from heat and fire.


Safety:

Avoid contacting with eyes, skin and clothing. Otherwise, wash with a flush of water. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for complete handling and hazard data.
